1929 – Born in Simferopol.
1938 – Moved to Yerevan with his family.
1944-1950 – Studied at the P. Terlemezyan Art College.
1950-1956 – Studied in the Painting Department at the Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts and Theater.
1954 – Began participating in exhibitions.
1960 – Became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
1967 – Awarded the Ministry of Culture of Armenia Prize for the painting “Hiroshima.”
1971 – Received the “Best Painting of the Year” award for the painting “Execution.”
1972 – Honored with the title of Honored Artist of Armenia by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of Armenia.
Participated in an exhibition of artists from the three Transcaucasian republics at Manezh.
1976 – Participated in an exhibition of six Armenian artists (Prague).
1978 – Participated in an exhibition of four Armenian artists (Moscow).
A graphics album was published in Yerevan.
1990 – Awarded the title of People’s Artist of Armenia by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of Armenia.
1991 – An album of his works was published in Yerevan.
2001 – His solo exhibition was aimed at applying for a state prize in literature and art.
2002 – Received the State Prize of Independent Armenia.

2019 – Passed away in Yerevan.
His works are held in the National Gallery of Armenia, the Contemporary Art Museum (Yerevan), other museums in Armenia, as well as in private collections in Armenia and abroad.
