Vruyr Galstyan

1924 – Born in Yerevan.

1958 – Graduated from the Pyotr Terlemezyan Fine Arts College in Yerevan.

1959-1964 – Studied at the Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts and Theatre.

From 1962 – Participated in republican, all-Union, and international exhibitions (Argentina, Portugal, France).

From 1968 – Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

1983 – Solo exhibition at the Union of Artists of Armenia (Yerevan).

1996 – Died in Yerevan.

2006 – Published the album “Vruyr” (Henrik Igityan, “Tigran the Great” Publishing House, Yerevan).

His works are held in the Contemporary Art Museum (Yerevan), the National Gallery of Armenia, the Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), the Museum of the Peoples of the East (Moscow), as well as in museums in Hrazdan, Jermuk, and other locations in Armenia, and in numerous private collections in Armenia, CIS countries, Germany (with a major collection in Munich), the USA, Beirut, and other countries.
