1928 – Born in Leninakan (Gyumri).
1954 – Graduated from the I. E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture of the Academy of Fine Arts of the USSR, and later completed his postgraduate studies (Leningrad).
1960 – After creating the monumental symbolic triptych “Seasons of the Year,” his artistic career shifted towards monumental painting.
In his later years, his works include “Surround Dance” (interior of the S. Kirov Factory), “Syringe” mural (Leninakan), “Glory to Armenian Letters and Education” mural (Oshakan), “Rhythms” mosaic (summer hall of the “Moscow” cinema, Yerevan), “Closed Corners” and “Geometric Space” (Institute of Mathematical Machines Research, Yerevan), among others.
Honored Artist of Armenia.
His works are held in the Contemporary Art Museum (Yerevan).
1972 – Passed away.
