Vardan Tepikyan – Art Intelligence

Yerevan Modern Art Museum invites you to the opening of Vardan Tepikyan’s Art Intelligence
solo exhibition, which will take place on May 15th at 7 P.M.
Art Intelligence
“Art is an act. The rest is a consequence “The series “Observers”, presented in 2020, with figurative dialogues, has today turned into abstract rebuses.
There is no longer a ready-made image proposal. There are only hints – lines, colors, shapes that seek the answer within you.
Here, the question “What do I see” actually means “What do I feel.” Art is inside you. Because you are what you see.

Welcome to a world where art begins from within you.

Djawed Wasseh (Germany) – Solo Exhibition

Yerevan Modern Art Museum invites to the opening of Djawed Wasseh’s solo exhibition, which will take place on 04.04.2025, at 4:00 pm.

Djawed Wasseh was born in Afghanistan. His childhood was memorable and pleasant. But because of the war he moved to Europe more than 30 years ago.

“My paintings are like radio stations, if you immerse into them and not just pass by, you will hear interesting stories… Memories from childhood- beautiful snowy winter in Kabul, the games with kites with my brother Shekeb. They are good memories, sweet memories…. And memories with a bitter taste, far from my parents, already in Germany.”

Appearing in Germany, he visited galleries and museums, attended concerts. The world of art attracted him, although it was new and completely unfamiliar to him.

At first, he had to do various jobs to survive and gradually began to paint. At first, he worked with a charcoal pencil, then with a brush and acrylic paints. Over time, he gained experience and became the author of his own style, the author of his own technique, using an ordinary shower and preferring a vertical format.
Djawed did not study art, but received patronage from Professor Udo Schell, former rector of the Münster Academy. He began to participate in exhibitions in Germany and abroad, in particular at the Franz-Hitze-Haus Academy in Münster, etc. Djawed’s last exhibition was held in New York.

“My paintings often don’t have titles, because they are my philosophy, my feelings expressed in color. Feelings about the past and present, my perception of myself in reality.”

The exhibition will be open until 20.04.2025
Ticket price – 500 AMD

“OVER TIME”, second edition

The Museum of Modern Art of Yerevan, TRUICART Events Brand and the curator of the event Dan Tudor Truică, are pleased to invite you to the opening of the contemporary art exhibition “OVER TIME”, second edition, on November 30, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., Mashtots str. 7, Yerevan, Armenia.
The tradition and culture of the two fraternal nations, Romania and Armenia, urge us to believe that beyond the historical vicissitudes, through various cultural projects, we have to strengthen our friendship, our dignity and values. Through our visual approach, we tried to present to art lovers in Armenia, in an elevated setting, recent works by professional artists from Romania, Greece and United States of America; an original visual journey that goes from figurative to abstract art under multiple techniques and forms of expression. The artists present, unequivocally, the deepest and unique feelings, giving them new aspirations.
The exhibition brings together the creations of 20 nationally and internationally renowned artists:
